Microsoft Layoffs June 2025. Tech companies have been laying off employees heavily in 2025. Microsoft is reportedly cutting around 1,000 jobs in its azure cloud and hololens mixed reality teams.

Microsoft laid off over 1,900 employees in its gaming division and more in other sectors in 2025. Tech firms including amazon.com and salesforce also laid off several hundred employees in 2025.
